Meet Some of Our Riders . . .

One of the things that makes Story Brook Stables so special is the friendship that develops among the riders. They share a love of horses that bridges any differences and allows them to enthusiastically enjoy all the fun and opportunities that Story Brook Stables offers year round.

The riding program at Story Brook Stables is fantastic! I became a student helper in July 2006, & I LOVE it. Even though it is a ton of work, the best part is seeing the kids smiling & knowing I made a contribution to their good time. The environment is a positive one & fun to be part of. I love Story Brook Stables & would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to ride.

The theme of last year's Christmas show was "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!" And that's what it's all about here at Story Brook Stables. We have so much fun and have made so many great memories.

I love Story Brook Stables, because after a long, hard day at school, going to the barn makes everything better. Almost all my friends are at the barn, and we treat each other like sisters and the horses like our boyfriends - we brag about them, write about them, and daydream about them. Not only does Story Brook Stables teach you how to ride, but it provides the best friendships.

I really love Story Brook Stables, because it's a wonderful place to ride horses. Kerri is a great teacher. Every Wednesday I feel so happy to be coming and can't wait for school to be over. I got to show this year for the first time and was proud to represent Story Brook Stables.

I just love Story Brook Stables! It's such a beautiful and fun place to spend time. Kerri is an incredible teacher. I couldn't ask for a better coach. All the horses and ponies have taught me so much. I rode Leave It To Beaver at my first shows. Now I'm riding Sierra and can't wait to show her. It has been a pleasure riding here, and I cannot wait to learn more here in the future.

I have been riding at Story Brook Stables for five or six years, and I love it! I have made most of my friends here. We all have so much fun riding, showing, and hanging out. There are so many different horses to choose from when you go to shows. When you find a horse you like, you get to work with him or her throughout the year. Then when you go to shows, you get to see your hard work and dedication pay off. We all love the Christmas show. We come up with routines to songs and perform them on our horses, whom we dress up like reindeer. It's a blast! I would definitely recommend Story Brook Stables to anyone who loves horses and loves to work hard and have fun while doing it.

I love to ride horses! I've made so many of my friends from riding. I ride every Thursday at 4:00 with Catherine, Holly, Cassie, Kelsey & Carlee. We are barrel racers. (Barrel racers rock!) I was at the barn one night, and I heard my instructor say to one of the parents "You see the girl in the striped shirt? She was being walked through the pattern last year, and this year she is riding one of our top barrel horses!" I looked at my shirt and realized she was talking about me! I was so excited!

As you can see, the pictures of Story Brook Stables are worth a thousand words. All my memories here are so special - the people, the friends and, of course, the ponies! Every time I come to a lesson or to just hang out, I automatically cheer up. I started in barrel racing then switched to English and can honestly say that whatever discipline you are looking to succeed in, Story Brook Stables can take you there. There is nothing I could say or do to totally thank Cyndi and Story Brook Stables for everything they have done for me.
