A $25 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold the date. Most parties are held on Saturdays beginning at 3:30 p.m. (following the day’s riding lessons) and just about anytime on Sundays. Riding lessons are available Monday through Thursday and Saturday. Riders are required to sign waivers in order to ride. Riders under 18 must have a parent sign for them. Riders are asked to wear long pants and shoes or boots with small heels and not-too-bulky soles. Guests attending parties are asked to bring bike helmets, except for riding lessons, which require ASTM-approved riding helmets that Story Brook Stables can provide. |

The Full Party provides two hours of fun for up to 10 kids and four adults, consisting
of an hour of horseback riding with two horses or ponies in either the indoor
or outdoor arena. (The party can go on rain or shine.) Several
staff members provide instruction and assistance. After riding, enjoy a
cookout with hot dogs and all the fixins, baskets of chips and pretzels, choice
of beverages, and a table set with colorful birthday plates, cups and napkins.

Bring Your Own Party consists of one hour of riding with your choice of the number
of horses, ponies and/or pony and cart in either the indoor or outdoor arena
and the opportunity to bring your own picnic specialties. You will have full
use of the picnic area with tables and chairs, gas grill, and lounge. |
